Maizesoft, China-based organization founded back in 1995, developed Maize Sampler for sound developers who want an efficient means of creating sample-based instruments. So if you are a sound developer and you want to publish samples as VST and Audio Unit virtual instruments, you’re very well advised to go get Maize Sampler.

Maize Sampler is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X.
You can use the application on a PC powered by anything from Windows XP onward.
And you can also use the application on a Mac powered by OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard or newer.

The group you’re working on is presented on the large panel on the left hand side of the application’s interface. To the right there’s an Instrument Properties panel. And at the top there’s a File Menu and a toolbar with nice big buttons for several functions Maize Sampler has to offer. Overall, it is fairly straightforward layout, one that you will easily figure out.

Maize Sampler’s aim is to help sound developers create sample-based virtual instruments. From the aforementioned interface they can access several handy features: support for several audio device types, support for multiple output devices, copy protection, player GUI editor, export function, and more.

Please note that Maize Sampler is not free, it is only free to try. The trial version comes with multiple limitations: limited to two groups, cannot change the player name and vendor string, reminder screen.

Want to publish samples as VST and Audio Unit virtual instruments? If you do, then you need to know that you can efficiently do so with Maize Sampler.

Pros

Maize Sampler is available for multiple platforms: Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X. The application's interface has a simple layout. Use Maize Sampler to create sample-based virtual instruments.

Cons

Multiple trial limitations.
